New Cherry Picker

The Port of Blyth has kindly donated a redundant cherry picker to the Club.

Although old it is in excellent condition and will now allow us to service masts in the yard, the travel hoist and shed roofs much more easily.

For the moment it is out of bounds until we have serviced it and had it inspected and re-certificated. We will also be putting in a training course for those in the Hoist team who would like to receive such instruction.

Any one interested in supporting the Hoist team in this regard should firstly speak to Ken Jones.

It would also be good if we could find a team of volunteers willing to clean her up and perhaps repaint her.

If you wish to help, please contact either Ken or Mike wade
