It is with great sadness I inform you that Club Vice President Jim Clark passed away on Thursday 28th March 2013.
Jim was one of our longest serving Club members having joined RNYC in 1939
He held positions as Treasurer, Rear and Vice Commodore under the Commodoreship of Viscount Runciman before taking on the role of Commodore in 1976 when Viscount Runciman was made Admiral.
More recently Jim worked with the RYA Training section of the Club, delivering Day and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster courses to members.
