RNYC hosts a number of open events and activities during the year:
Blyth Regatta
Each year in early September, RNYC welcomes visitors to take part in it’s own regatta. Enjoy racing and the all-important socialising at the big weekend of the year.
Winter Series Racing
Keep sailing through the winter at our winter series! Fortnightly short races from November to March keep your sailing skills fresh, and a warm welcome in the bar helps ease any effects of the weather.
East Coast Sailing Week
East Coast Week is held at RNYC every third year (being held on the Forth and the Tay on other years) and attracts a large fleet from the North East of England and the East Coast of Scotland, plus visitors from further afield. In 2014 East Coast Week was held at Blyth.
First Wednesday Talk Series
The club’s regular series of talks by guest speakers is open to members and non-members alike. For details of the forthcoming schedule see the Talks and Presentations page.
