The small crane is fixed and ready for use.
The latest problem was caused by a loose line sticking to the chain and taken down into the gypsy wheel where it tangled and eventually clogged the guide way.
When lifting boats or masts please make sure that there are no loose lines that can be 'sucked' into the block head.

good, but does anyone know where the new small straps are ?
I spent (another) few hours in a fruitless searxh for the straps yesterday.
Can they please be kept in one place and returned there !! You would not stow kit on your boar in such a disorderly fashion…why do it with the straps !!!
