All Wednesday series racers we have to think hard on some decisions regarding englands next match in the semi finals …. It starts at 2000 hrs so as far as we are concerned we have 3 options… 1) we do nothing miss the start of the game but get to see most on the club ship. 2) We move the start time of the race to 1830 hrs and finish at 1930 hrs and get to see the whole match 3) We move the whole race to start at 1900 hrs on Tuesday, Please have a think and let me

Time to help out your club we are short of members helping out the movement of bins in and out and of the yard. The more members we can get involved the easier the rota will be.

So come on let me know your interest and we will send you an offer vote to the rota page.

Thanks Steve M

The postponed all marks race was competed today.

A course was laid that we hoped stretched the legs of our aquatic greyhounds!

11 boats turned out and were treated to a strong and sometimes gusty westerly. But it delivered some great and speedy sailing.

Well done to Juno for taking the win in Division 1 and to Fingal for taking the laurels in Division 2.

Thanks Mary for the fortifying coffees from the Rum shack.

And thanks to Nathan for helping lay the course and to Mat Hill for help in the Rib collecting them.

Till the next one!

Watching the bay forecast today and following a consultation amongst the sailing committee we have made the decision to postpone the race planned for Saturday 4th July to Sunday 5th July .

We hope that this early notice allows time for competitors to rearrange crews etc..

Hopefully see you all Sunday (1100 briefing for 1200 start) when it looks a little better.

Thank you

DATE AMENDMENT TO SATURDAY 4th JULY FOR ALL MARKS RACE

The next summer series race will be on Wednesday 8th July.

However this Saturday the 4th July see’s the running of the All Marks race under NERR handicap starting at 1200 with an 1115 briefing. A few Marks are included in the montage but feel free to find your own!

It will be a longer course with interesting twists and turns.

Why not bring some BBQ grub and we can gather around the rumshack for some post race banter?
