With apologies that this has taken a little while to filter through, please see below the current position on moorings fees. The decision making process in the Club must now take place over email instead of face to face and decisions regarding the financial offerings of the Club must go through the Directors and General Committee for a decision.
Moorings Fees
The invoices for the summer moorings have been sent out however we are very conscious of the financial strain that some members may well be feeling as a result of events over the recent weeks and we are keen to help members where needed in these extraordinary times.
We would like to stress that the offer of these provisions does not mean that we wish to set a precedent regarding the offer of split payments (as we have consciously moved away from this model in recent years). The offer is made in recognition of the unique set of circumstances that we all now find ourselves in and in the hope of offering some relief to members.
As such:

If you require some flexibility regarding upcoming payments then the onus is on the individual member to contact the Club in order to discuss a suitable plan.

The offer is to arrange a payment plan for deferred payment of summer moorings and/or winter mooring fees. Members are not excused of these payments however a deferred payment scheme will be considered.

The offer of deferred payments is made on a discretionary basis and the Directors and General Committee make this offer to members who are directly affected financially by the outbreak of Coronavirus.

If you are still able to make payments in full, then please do so in order to assist the Club’s ongoing financial commitments.
We are keeping a watching brief on the circumstances of the lockdown and how this affects members’ use of their boats and the Club facilities as well as how we may compensate members for this should the current lockdown continue to deprive us all from ordinary use of the facilities for an extended period. I would like to assure members that the General Committee are exploring various ways in which we may support those members in need and not just in the immediate weeks to come. However, until we know the duration and extent of the limitations imposed upon us we cannot make any substantive decisions. Please rest assured that this is very high on our list of priorities.
