Tyne weekend

Tyne weekend arrangements;
Cruise down Friday or Saturday .
Race down Saturday at 10.30 as a pursuit race based on 90 minutes
All boats need to be in through the 15.30 lift on saturday at the latest so we can exercise the berth plan which will be issued once I have finalised the list .

A) going
B) Saturday or Sunday
C) racing
D) white sails or spinnaker class
There will be a race back on the Sunday so racing boats need to be out on the 8.30 lift on the Sunday morning

Sailing instructions
The pursuit race will be starting between the committee boat kandula and meggies and then heading out to the mast then due south
The boats will be started in order of the corrected time based on 90 minutes
Ie if you have a handicap of 1.00 you will set off at 10.30
If you have a handicap of .8228 then you set off at 10.14
Once all boats have registered their intention to race this week then I will publish the individual start times
And the list will be on the board next to the signing on sheet.
We will use VHF 37 (M1)
The boats will be called up to the start line and given a horn for their start , no other signals will be given
The boat furthest south at 12 noon will be the winner.
Kandula will flank the lead boat to leward and indicate by horn and VHF the finish time
The rest of the fleet will then be listed in finishing order.
If boats get to the Tyne prior to the hour and a half then they must keep heading south for the noon finish.
The race back on Sunday will be from inside the harbour at tynemouth between herdsands lateral buoy
Red can red flashing light (R FL(2) R 10 S) And kandula
Start due east and finish blyth fairway between the green post and the access ramp to the harbour office
Please take and declare your own finish times to me.
