RNLI Pennant Race

This Saturday 28th September is the penultimate race of the season.
The RNLI Pennant race will be at 14.00 and will take the form of a bay race split into two classes with a combined start.

There will be a prize giving in the evening as part of the RNLI supper where two pennants will be awarded to the class winners (classes to be decided on the day).

We have invited the local RNLI crews to the evening do but we need members to come and support this event to show our thanks for the work these guys do.

It is an opportunity to build ties with our first emergency service and show them how we party at RNYC. There will pie and peas courtesy of our social committee, games, prize giving and 'The Blistering Barnycles' will be entertaining you with their eclectic mix of shanties , folk and buskers songs.

Please let me know if you intend to enter the race so we can get some ideas on numbers
sailing@rnyc.org.uk 07740322576
and let Karen Blenkinsop
know if you are coming to the evening do , again for numbers.

It would be great if we can keep the momentum up of boats on the water after the Bondicar success.

Hopefully ,see you all there.
