Gary from Newcastle marina has asked Jan and me to coordinate those club members who are taking their yachts up to Newcastle for NYE. At the moment there’s no bridge booked at all for NYE and as Gateshead council workers are on holiday from Friday we need to book something now.
Low water at Blyth is at 12.23. Assuming 2 hours to get up river with the tide I am suggesting a bridge lift at 3pm.
We’ll be looking at the weather forecast too and may decide to go a day early. Can you get back to me ASAP.
