Whilst clearing out the forepeak area in preparation for the impending electrical and then restoration work on HY Tyne, it became apparent that we have a large number of books on various aspects of sailing that we no longer have room for. Most of these have been generously donated by members or their families. Books we believe to be of historical significance, along with the photograph albums and cruising logs have been packed away so they may be brought out again once the work has been completed. However those that are surplus to requirements have been placed in a number of boxes on the seats next to the fire exit at the front of the saloon.
Members therefore have to opportunity to help themselves to any of these surplus books.
Any books left after Sunday 9th March will be disposed of by taking them to a charity shop.
