Join Clive Gray of the Blyth Tall Ship project for an evening of ‘Boys’ Own’ adventure*.
The mission? Lead a team of willing volunteers to Svendborg, Denmark. Prepare ‘Haabet’, a 100 year old wooden Baltic Trader, for sea. Transit the Keil Canal then cross the North Sea to Blyth in time to join a flotilla of sail before an audience of 15,000 spectators and VIPs… Simple?
Clive will give us the warts-and-all inside story of how it was done – and how it almost didn’t happen!
