Northumberland Plate Yacht Race 2017

The Royal Northumberland and Coquet Yacht Clubs were approached by Northumberland County Council in 2015 to host an annual yacht race to celebrate the maritime history of the Northumberland coast in the manner that the Northumberland Plate has represented the North East in horse racing circles for over a century.

This year the start is at Amble 10.30am and the finish at Blyth. The entry fee is £15 per boat which includes SEX ON THE BEACH (cocktail). Either register at CYC on the morning of the race or text Ken Murray on 07980 334467 the night before, along with your decision to race white sail or spinnaker class and he will text you the course.

Let’s have a good turn out and win the plate for the RNYC this year.
