The first of the winter races happened today in high winds, high waves and high anxiety. Gusts of 40 knots and probably 4-6 metre swell testing the resolve of some 20 mad sailors. It was truly exhilarating and blew many a cobweb away. The winners were Caveman all neanderthals to a T. Well done guys and all who took part. The next ‘outing’ will hopefully be in a fortnight’s time.
